Class of 2024

  • 72 students (100% of the class) received a GMC Prep School diploma • 54 Honor Graduates – students earning a cumulative HS GPA of 90 or above
  • 41 Graduates attended GMC from 6th through 12th grade
  • 70 students (97%) will enroll in a post-secondary institution in Fall 2024 with 1 student enlisting in the Army and another serving a Mission in South America
  • Accepted to 37 different colleges and universities. • *Complete institutional breakout on back.
  • 5 Members of the Class plan to serve in the Armed Forces of our Country • 1 is attending United States Military Academy at West Point
  • 1 is a Falcon Foundation Scholar for the United States Air Force Academy
  • 1 is Enrolled in the Early Commissioning Program/State Service Program with an Army National Guard contract
  • 1 is committed to serving in the United States Army and is going to college using his 4 year ROTC Scholarship
  • 1 has chosen to enlist in the United States Army
  • 5 Members received ROTC Scholarships; 1 will use it at the University of North Georgia
  • The Class of 2024 earned over $1.2 million dollars in scholarship monies (academic, athletic, and/or military) towards their postsecondary education
  • 62 students (86%) earned the Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship
  • 61 students (71%) participated in our Dual Enrollment program with GMC Junior College as a Junior and/or Senior. These students combined to complete 416 college courses and earned a total of 2,082 quarter hours.
  • Average SAT scores: 1129 Composite - 579 Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, 556 Math—surpassing the National and State Averages; 96% of the class took the SAT exam
  • Average ACT scores: 27 Composite - 27 Reading, 26 English, 27 Math, 26 Science and 27 STEM—surpassing the National Averages
  • During their High School years, the Class of 2024 was part of 1 National Championship, 15 State Championships, and 14 members of the class hold at least one Individual State Championship Title
  • Three students accepted invitations to participate in athletics at the collegiate level—Football, Softball, and Tennis.
  • One member is serving a Mission in Argentina
  • The Class of 2024 continued the tradition of our 10 previous graduating classes by reaching their goal to fully endow a “Class of” scholarship prior to graduation. As of June 2024, the “Class of 2024 Endowed Scholarship Fund” totaled $36,714 with the first award based on financial need to be disbursed for the 2025-26 school year.
